Two days on the trail as the season turned. Fog most of the way up, then the lakes opened for about ten minutes.

Tokyo, Osaka and a rainy day in Kyoto. Mostly signs, towers and rivers, plus one very gold fish.

A week mostly in Seoul, between palaces, temples and the river, with one last night in Busan.

An evening hike up to the summit. Haze and glare over Howe Sound, then sunset over the islands on the way down.

A clear August day on Vancouver Island. Jagged peaks and a blue tarn from the ridge, then the sun going down behind the range on the walk out.

Everything that didn’t fit anywhere else: a mountaintop, an antique shop, a few farms and one good sunset.
